Analysis Notes

61:1 During his “upgrade” from Brainiac 2.5 to Brainiac 13, other characters in the Brainiac lineage are seen.  (Ostensibly these are as upgrade “stops”, but the physical forms probably are not actually taken.)  The head with the beard (lower center) is Brainiac.  The head to Brainiac’s right is Vril Dox II (the son of Brainiac).  The long haired head in the lower right is presumably Brainiac 4 (the mother of Brainiac 5), although inked and colored more male than female (perhaps indicating a lapse in the direction to the inkers).  And the head in the upper right is probably Brainiac 5 (prior to his own upgrade to become Brainiac 5.1); it looks a little young, though, and thus could also by Lyrl Dox, Vril’s son.
