Analysis Notes
| General |
Only 14:1 and 21-38 are covered here. |
| This story occurs some time in the mid-21st century, after the events depicted in Kingdom Come. |
| 14:1 |
These characters are Manotaur (a former member of the Titans), Trix (based on H.R. Giger designs), Nightstar (the daughter of Nightwing and Starfire), Starman VIII, and Phoebus. Starmans identity is Danny Blaine, but Starman v2 #50 revealed that to be an alias that Star Boy (Thom Kallor) will eventually use. |
| Phoebus (It means Sun God, to quote from Disney) was always seen in Kingdom Come in the company of Starman and thus may have a Legion connection; Dirk Morgna (Sun Boy) would seem an appropriate choice. |
| 21:4 |
As seen in 23:5, the red solar halo is from Starman. |
| 23:4 |
This counts as an appearance for Starman. |
| 24:2 |
The three characters in the center here are Zatara II (son of Zatana and John Constantine), Green Lantern IV, and Bullet Girl. |
| 24:2-4 |
These count as appearances for Starman. |
| 28:3 |
The characters seen here are Darkstar (son of Donna Troy and Terry Long), Flash III, Hawkman, Avia (of the Titans; daughter of Scott Free and Big Barda), Nightstar, Steel (with a Batman motif), Jade, Bulletwoman, Green Lantern I, Dr. Fate, Powerman (originally a Superman robot), Power Woman, Zatara II, Red Tornado, Ray, Atlas, Tornado, and Starman VIII. |
| As with Phoebus, Tornado was always seen in Kingdom Come in conjunction with Starman, leading to a possible Legion connection Although she is ostensibly Red Tornados apprentice, the general appearance and power set could equate easily to Kinetix (and becoming the apprentice to an elemental would work well with her characterization, too). |
| 32:3 |
The power effect here is different from that used by Star Boy. It may not be a gravity power. |
| 37:1 |
The characters seen here are Avia, Ray, Starman VIII, Nightstar (boots), Batman, Waverider, Hunter, Matt Ryder, Superman, Wonder Woman, Liri Lee, Hawkman, Steel, Powerman, Power Woman, and Darkstar. |
