Analysis Notes

Cover The background graphic was created by Pat Garrahy of Ojo Caliente Production Studios.  Their website labels this the “Man of Tomorrow Future Metropolis” and says “Just the tips of a few buildings can be seen in this image.”
6:3 Several Legionnaire icons appear here: Night Girl (half-hidden behind the top of 6:4), Kinetix (below Luthor), Queen Projectra (below Luthor’s arm), a variant Legion logo with a Superman emblem replacing the comet, Timber Wolf (below Robin’s “R”), and Wildfire (below the lightning bolt).
6:6 More Legion icons: a big floating “L” and Quislet’s icon (the pitchfork in the green bubble above the “L”).
11:3-4 Taking place in the early 2800’s, this would presumably involve time travel on the Legion’s part (although as is true with many of the DC One Million Legion references, there is no guarantee that this event will occur with the current Legionnaires).
16:4 The Legion of Executive Familiars — based on the Legion of Super-Pets — appears in 1999’s DC One Million 80-Page Giant.
Between the powers implied by the name and the bug-like appearance, Wormhole could have some relation to Gates.
